Set up burner DNS
Before a burner domain can carry a masked link, it needs to be pointed at Proxamail. This is a one-time step, and how it works depends on where the domain was registered.
Domains bought in the app
Already done for you — the domain shows Nameservers set ✓. There is nothing to configure.
Domains you brought yourself (BYO)
Click Set up DNS on the domain, then copy the randomized nameservers Proxamail assigns and open Show. Proxamail detects common registrars — Namecheap, Porkbun, Dynadot, GoDaddy, Openprovider/Registrar.eu and Cloudflare — and shows the exact menu path plus an official help link for each.
Replace every old nameserver with all four assigned values — don't add them as ordinary DNS records. Use Check again for an immediate check, or wait for the automatic check, which runs about every 15 minutes. Until verification the domain stays amber as Waiting for registrar update.
DNSSEC
If DNSSEC or DS records are enabled at the domain's old DNS provider, disable them before switching nameservers. Old DS records refer to the previous provider's signing keys and can make the domain return SERVFAIL after the nameserver change. You can skip this step when DNSSEC is already off.
